I philosophise on some philosophical philosophies from time to time, even if they're just my frantic thoughts and ramblings. Thinking of things is often quite fun, having new ideas...

A so-called "Cog in the Machine"?

The Philosopher

A boy, only in his teens. He literally has the entire world ahead of him to go and explore. A hundred thousand choices and a million paths he could take each and every day. With the endless world of possibilities in front of him, there's only one thing to do!

Think. Think long and hard about it.

"Now what? I need to ponder on my future for a while, so I guess I'll get a job in the meantime!"

After a "short while" turned into a "Longer amount of time" the boy become a young man. Using time to think of what he wants to do in life can't have been a bad decision right? I mean, he doesn't want to mess up and waste time on pointless endeavors. And the last thing he wants to do is grow old with regrets from paths not taken. So then what is the right decision to make for his future? Should he be studying something or working somewhere? But he has no idea what to do or where to do it... Will he ever know for sure?

So he works and lives and marries with kids,
day to day thinking and dreaming of things.
But what will he do? He has no dreams of his own
He has no true goals and he feels like a drone.
If he moves, will he fall or fly?
Thinking too much by-and-by,
He may truly love life,
Hates to waste it though.
So what comes next?
Try to move...
Live life...
How?

Ads! Ad why not?

Yay, give me money!

Nah, I don't have a cold, I'm just being 'punny'. So I enjoy writing on this blog of mine, and in doing so I get the feeling I'm giving it life. So I'm gonna add ads to it and hopefully earn a little income here. Why not? I hope they don't inconvenience you at all, I'll give it a test run and if it doesn't work out I'll change back. Any concerns from my valuable readers? I'm pretty much set on the idea though. So hey! I've received over 700 page views! Thanks guys, whomever reads this, you make this endeavor very exciting (especially the occasional new comment, I get really hyped! Truly, thanks guys!).

She doesn't like her name, but I do. I think it's a wonderful name! She makes me so happy whenever I see her or hear her voice, Jess you're amazing! Now you're not hi-jacking my blog, I love you with all my heart so please don't be discouraged when I'm not writing about you!

My sister, Caroline, is releasing a book! It'll be coming out on the 2nd of November and it's so exciting, I can't wait to own my copy! Her children's book is aptly named "Carrie the Limping Lion", and it explains the struggles that children suffering from arthritis face, just as she did when she was younger. How long is a blog post?

Greetings!

My girlfriend wanted me to write a new blog post, and has told me that she checks this page regularly. So here it is! Just for you Jess, I did it! Another chance for you to peer through the black and white door of my digitally recorded soul. Yay! I chose the title for this post to indicate my philosophical nature and deep thoughts, HOW LONG IS A BLOG POST!? It's not that long really. In fact... This one is done!
