16 and 2 quarters

So we're in the 2nd quarter of 2016. I have been sufficiently lazy to fill my quota this year (please don't judge my quota of laziness)... Truth be told, I just finally have enough co-workers again to slip some blogging time into my busy schedule. Things are going well with yours truly, and I scooped up my scattered brain enough to reach out in my long-distance relationship. I find it hard to stay in contact with people far away, just ask my dad and sister! And please let them know that I'm thinking about them. So I Emailed Jono, off on mission for his church, and he appears to be very busy indeed. He hasn't replied, which is likely because he's always doing stuff (he said so in his weekly updates), but as long as he's noticed that I'm thinking about him then I am glad :)

Speaking of Jono, he gets back in only 9 months! 2 years go by slowly if you keep looking at the time. Like a boiling pot. Jono, you are my boiling pot! And when you get home and read this, you will remember how crazy your friends are. If you forget then we might feel emotionally hurt and we will have our revenge!!!
So THAT'S how it works!

I'm just joking everybody :P I'm not psycho, just a little on the crazy-fun side but not too-crazy over-the-top. Like scary crazy! I'm not scary crazy. One of my co-workers would likely disagree, but that's only because he doesn't share my sense of humour and he thinks I may be a mass-murdering psychopath - just because I smile broadly for no reason sometimes.

Setting unrealistic standards

I realised that I'm doing that for myself. Every time that I posted a well made and thought provoking blog post then I would get great feedback... I have come to realise that the positive feedback makes me only want to use my time posting thought provoking and intellectually challenging content, otherwise it's a waste of time. Now the thing about those great posts is that they come naturally and NOT when I'm wracking my brain about making new original greatness.

Look at that thing!

Back to my roots!

What is my Blog called? "Who I am". I didn't call my blog "Mr Inflated ego" or "What I want people to see me as", so I need to write about ME and MY needs. Otherwise I won't write anything from the guilt of my unrealistic standards. Which led me to think that people really do set unrealistic standards in their own lives and for people around them, but I won't go into detail for that topic now...

Silly Cellphone Games

Some games,
most of which I don't actually play...
Just a good stock image to portray
my topic of games.
The likes of which have you tapping away on your phone for hours. Well, they get me hooked quite easily! I downloaded the Plants Vs. Zombies 2 and Nimble Quest android games (among others) that are so much fun! Maybe even TOO much fun D: Oh, and I got Alchemy which is ridiculously entertaining for such a simple game. You put elements together (starting with Earth, Water, Air and Fire) to create all the wonders of the universe from life, to planets, and even movies! Much fun can be had from this silly game. My friend and I have made around 300 of the 390 items available in this game, sharing our discoveries so that we can win faster! Teamwork B)

Super-powers

What super-power would you have if you could choose one? I'd like to be able to calm people down and make them tranquilly happy with only the sound of my voice. That would be a great power! No conflicts or concerns, just blissful happiness... I hate fights. If I could avoid every single one I probably would, though that's not possible in this world we live in. If you interact with people there will be conflicts! Full-stop! Period! END! OF! SENTENCE!

As humans, we need others in our life (to hold onto our sanity obviously, solitude is completely maddening!). However, to completely understand another human is a near impossible feat. People always have conflicting ideas and ideals, and if you were to find somebody that thought in exactly the same way as you do, you would probably get bored of them. If you really want to talk to yourself then do that. But if you want to have a real conversation then talk to another person. If you are able to have a real conversation with yourself, I suggest you keep that to yourself... People that think like you do are too often mis-understood and locked up in a small room with a hug jacket on :(
"It's a perfect fit! You look all the rage, darl"
A poem for my pretties:
I love my jacket, need my jacket, hug my jacket daily.
I share my jacket with myself and sometimes I'm a lady.
They say my friends inside my head are all a little crazy.
My jacket says that I'm the best, it keeps nice and cozy.

Stay sane my readers

The mysterious +1

It would appear that I have at least 1 die hard fan, clicking on the Google +1 button below each new post that I put up. Please kind sir or madam, make yourself known and comment below! I'd love to find out if you exist, even an anonymous message would be gratefully appreciated!

Button looks something like this!
If there is no person that is pressing that button, I may have to come to terms with my own insanity... Perhaps I log in anonymously and press that button, only to forget about it immediately. Or aliens do it just to mess with me? All I know is that whenever I put up a new post, it always has +1 straight off the bat! By the time I get to it on my blog it's got +1 :l Perhaps it is automatically generated? I don't know...

But if you are out there, please reach out to me! Or else I shall have to refer to you as... The Lone +1'er! Valiantly surfing the inter-webs in search of blog posts that require +1's. A hero in the night, protector of lonely blogs! Bloggers everywhere salute you!

Sometimes I go a little overboard...

I blow things out of proportion for absolutely no reason. I don't know why, it's just something I do time to time. There! I admitted it! Now leave me alone guys! Hm... Well I suppose they only mentioned it once... And it might have only been one person. But none-the-less you don't know me! You don't know nothin'!

Sorry... I'm pretty darn crazy... You'll get used to it. Time for a little rant! It sincerely irritates me to hear people complain about other people :/ So often the people doing the complaining don't know how difficult it can be to listen to them. Do they know what the person they're directing their anger at is going through? No. Do they THINK they know, and in so they stop caring about their limited knowledge on the matter? Damn right.

Because it's not his real name!
You don't know him! You don't know nothin'!... And yet they persist. There's one poor gentleman by my chosen pseudonym of Jacob that makes an appearance at our store almost daily. Sometimes he asks for R8 to buy a loaf of bread, and my boss reluctantly obliges him on occasion. He shares with us the information of which he finds note-worthy during his visits, often to do with sport, health or various current affairs. My friend (here-after referred to as Charles) often remarks on Jacob's previous job title as a lawyer and believes he should have money oozing out his ears. Right. Now Charles! You don't know his past, maaan! UGH. Anyway. Rant over.
Life lesson to take away from this?: "Don't judge lest ye be judged." - The Bible.

Have a lovely week after this morose Monday
RAAARW! (Dinosaur Ben says goodbye)
